Forecast accuracy

We keep a permanent record of every forecast we issue and grade it against what actually happened. This is that record.

Anyone can say their forecasts are accurate. This page says by how much — per model, per variable, and per how far ahead the forecast was made. Where we are worse than guessing the local average, the number below is negative, and we publish it anyway.
